Lincoln
Composites offers a variety of modular fule storage systems
for both roof-mounted and chassis-mounted applications. The
diverse pack designs are available with a a variety of tank
sizes and quantities with various capacities to meet range
requirements.
Lincoln
Composites offers this modular fuel storage system as a complete
package. The chassis-mounted system includes tanks, valves,
PRD's, interconnect plumbing and lightweight covers.
The
TUFFSHELL® gaseous fuel tank designed and produced by
Lincoln Composites has all the performance characteristics
desired of a vessel for hydrogen storage. TUFFSHELL® hydrogen
tanks are the lightest weight tank on the market and offer
superior fatigue life, excellent durability and low permeation
at a competitive cost.
Lincoln
Composites has developed, field-tested and produced drive
shafts for commercial customers. These shafts are made from
a unique combination of carbon and glass reinforced composites
that enhance performance and cost effectiveness. The high
quality and performance standards are typical of our commercial
products.

a examination of the transient thermodynamics and temperature
response of the GDATP Type 4 pressure vessel and the stored
gas during a hydrogen fast-fill event. Lincoln

Safety is
the first concern in the design and use of these fuel containers.
Standards for composite fuel containers have been developed,
including ANSI/CSA NGV2 and ISO 11439. Fuel containers qualified
to
these standards have been in service for nearly 10 years.
These standards have test requirements that improve the safety
of NGV fuel containers, as demonstrated by field service history.
Title: Demonstration of the
Durability of TUFFSHELL® CNG Fuel Tanks
Five type 4 all-composite compressed natural gas (CNG)
fuel tanks produced in 1994 were acquired to study the effects
of time and environmental exposure.
All tanks exceeded the NGV2-2000 test requirements
and exhibited no adverse effects from time, environment, and
cyclic pressurization.
