Since 1963, Lincoln
Composites has been known for its technical and manufacturing
experience and excellence. Our work began with the aerospace
and defense industry and has expanded over the years to
include leading-edge composite products for the transportation
and industrial markets.
Today, Lincoln
Composites operates one of the world’s most-advanced
facilities for designing, testing and manufacturing composite
pressure vessels. We focus our efforts on three core business
categories:
Natural
gas and hydrogen vehicle fuel tanks. Our patented
all-composite TUFFSHELL® NGV fuel and hydrogen tanks
are manufactured with a structural shell wound from a hybrid
of high-strength carbon fiber blended with tough glass filaments.
These materials combined with our proprietary epoxy resin
system and high-density polyethylene liner provides outstanding
toughness and durability at a competitive price.
 Fuel
storage systems. Our modular fuel storage systems
incorporate our TUFFSHELL® fuel tanks into lightweight
tank packs complete with the hardware needed to quickly
and easily mount the tanks to the roofs and chassis of commercial
buses and trucks.
Accumulators.
We incorporate TUFFSHELL® technology into our all-composite
high-pressure composite accumulator bottles (CABs) manufactured
for the automotive and offshore oil industries.
